Terms of Service

Last updated 3 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Envoy. Envoy is currently in closed beta, which means it changes often and may occasionally be wrong.

What Envoy does

Envoy connects to your email and calendar, identifies things that appear unresolved, and proposes actions. It proposes; you decide. Envoy creates drafts in your Gmail account and does not send them. You send them.

The one exception is a meeting a visitor books through your public Twin, where you have explicitly set that action to happen automatically. You choose that setting and can change it at any time.

AI output, and your responsibility for it

Envoy uses large language models. They make mistakes: a draft may misstate facts, misread tone, or misunderstand a thread. You are responsible for anything you send, and for reading a draft before you send it. Envoy is a tool for preparing communication, not a substitute for your judgement about it.

Detection is imperfect in both directions. Envoy may raise something that does not matter, and may miss something that does. Do not rely on it as your only record of an obligation.

Your public Twin

If you publish a public Twin, you are making a page that answers on your behalf. It is clearly labelled as AI to everyone who visits it. You control what facts it can use and what actions visitors may trigger.

You may publish a Twin only of yourself. Creating a Twin that represents another person, or that impersonates anyone, is not permitted.

Your account

Acceptable use

Do not use Envoy to send spam or bulk unsolicited mail, to harass anyone, to impersonate anyone, to break the law, or to circumvent the rate limits or terms of the services Envoy connects to.

Beta status, availability, and change

Envoy is provided as-is during closed beta. Features may change or be removed, and the service may be unavailable. We will give reasonable notice before any change that would delete your data.

Third-party services

Envoy depends on Google, Apple, Anthropic and OpenAI. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, and their availability is outside our control.

Ending it

You can disconnect accounts or delete yours at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Envoy is provided without warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including anything arising from a message you sent, did not send, or sent late.
